Ms Jane Tankard

I have been teaching and practicing architecture for the past 30 years. I am a registered architect and joined the University of Westminster in January 1999, where I am a Senior Lecturer. I have taught at the Bauhaus, Dessau and collaborated on projects with the Arts Council and the British Council. I have been a Partner of Tankard Bowkett, a small architectural firm, since 1992 and we have had our work published and exhibited widely. I have co-authored two books: The Seriously Useful Guide to Professional Practice (Elsevier) and Towards a New Architect (soon to be published) both on becoming an architect. I often collaborate with artists and designers in multi-disciplinary practice and have curated exhibitions, installations and public events.
