| Abstract | In this practice based presentation Brake & van Aitken will draw on images and texts made during and in response to a walk in Xian urban village in Guangzhou, China, in 2015. Using Xian as a case study they will initiate a discussion about the way a variety of photographic practices function as border work in relation to China's internal borders and the economic frontiers produced by urban development. |
