|Title||Framing Brexit: the role, and the impact, of the national newspapers on the EU Referendum|
This article examines the significance of frames used in the national newspapers during the campaign leading up to the Referendum on June 23, 2016 on whether or not the UK should remain a member of the European Union. Through a contextual research, this study identified three major frames persistently used by the leading proponents of the 'Leave campaign' and was widely reflected in the most popular national newspapers.
