I was awarded the 2019 inaugural Newcastle Poetry Prize for my poem 'Juice'. As part of the prize I was invited up to read at the Newcastle Poetry Festival. I was also awarded a three-day residency at the Newcastle University Poetry archives. The cash prize for the award was £1000
