Description

Original footage of World War II dogfight: plane crashes, pilot parachutes down. Little girl watching the sky. River Thames at Greenwich. Little girl looking at the water. Man carrying bicycle down stairs of Woolwich Foot Tunnel. Young woman dancing on stairs. People in lift; tunnel seen in monitor. Passengers leaving the lift, dancing in the tunnel. Two of the women are dressed in 1940s clothes; with them the tunnel resembles the London Underground used as an air-raid shelter. Dancers. Airman walking along tunnel dragging his parachute. Credits.
