I joined the University of Westminster in 2001 after a career at a senior level in architectural practice. Prior to joining the University I specialised in strategic design and project management consultancy for a range of international companies and professional clients.
I welcomed the opportunity to teach aspects of practice to the next generation of architects and since joining the University I have continued to participate in the development of the architectural education, to carry out research in architectural practice and to write.
I have a research interest in dispute resolution in the construction industry and the use of non-adversarial methods such as dispute boards and mediation.
I am currently supervising a PhD on the use of Dispute Boards in international construction disputes
