Lisa is an established academic, who has provided excellent leadership and management, mentoring and coaching for a cross-disciplinary academic staff across the University. This includes supporting staff groups more widely, to deliver on the University's mission to develop tomorrow’s global managers and leaders. Lisa has made both individual and team orientated contributions to teaching and learning as well as to the development of a high-performing culture and new collaborative ways of working across the University. Lisa has extensive experience of working closely with members of the Centre for Teaching Innovation team, key University stakeholders such as Heads of School, Assistant Heads of School, Associate Heads of College and Directors of Learning, Teaching and Quality operating within a framework based on the University’s strategic priorities, mission, strategy, and ambitions as a challenger institution. Lisa strives to lead by example, ensuring the development of a high-performing culture, and role modelling best practice and the University's key values. Lisa has extensive mentoring and coaching expertised gained internally and externally.

Lisa is continuing to make a valuable and positive contribution to the development, implementation and delivery of research strategies which align with the University’s overarching research strategy and which will benefit the School and the University in the short, medium and long term. Lisa has undertaken extensive empirical research since 1992. This research has included original research on wellbeing, Human Resource Management, empirical organisational research and research related to business and organisational and coaching psychology.
Lisa's research expertise is mainly focused in the areas applied organisational behaviour and scholarly pedagogical research as allied to the teaching of organizational behaviour via the application of interesting and innovative methodological approaches. Current projects include applying holistic business psychology practices, coaching and mentoring, reciprocal peer coaching relationships, relationships at work, well-being and new ways of working in higher education.

PhD Supervision:
An MPhil/Phd is an advanced postgraduate research qualification that requires the completion of an original research project and the submission of a dissertation. You will be initially registered for an MPhil and then upgraded to a Phd after a progress review. As an establishes academic with extensive supervision expertise, I am able to support you through this process, using an extensive range of counselling, coaching and mentoring support.
