1986: Licentiate In Political and Social Sciences from University Of Antwerp (UFSIA -UIA), Belgium, awarded with distinction in 1986.
My academic role has developed to a Principal Lectureship in the HRM department with a significant research profile on employment and diversity issues in a European context as a member of the Research Centre 'Centre for Employment Studies'. In particular research on diversity in STEMM sector and women in manual trades.
My PhD by publication on Contextualising diversity management: Challenging the effectiveness of the business case" was awarded in 2016, consolidating 10 years of research in this field. I continue to be involved in diversity related research projects.
I currently am on the supervisory team to five PhD students.
