Dr Frances Lynch

I joined the University of Westminster as Reader in French Studies in 1995. Before that I had been a lecturer in economic history in the History department of the University of Manchester; a visiting fellow in the department of History and Civilisation, at the European University Institute, Florence; and held a one-year British Academy fellowship.

My research interests include the history of France in the twentieth century; the history of European integration; relations between Britain and France; and the history of taxation. I am happy to supervise students in any of these fields.

I am a member of the Economic History Society and the University Association for Contemporary European Studies
