Phil Sainter has been a University Lecturer since 2002, joining the University of Westminster in 2007. Before this position, he was a lecturer and researcher at the University of Plymouth, Coventry University and the Open University.
Phil became the Course Leader for BA (Hons) Business in 2009 and became the course leader for BA (Hons) Business Management in the Westminster Business School in 2010.
In 2017, Phil became the Coordinator of Undergraduate Studies and became the Director of Teaching, Learning and Quality for the School of Applied Management within Westminster Business School in 2018
Phil also holds several Project Management professional qualifications.
Phil has an interest in the use of technology-enhanced learning and attempts to use this in his practice.
Phil attended CABS Leaders in Learning & Teaching course in 2016/17.

Phil has been an approved APMG PRINCE2 trainer. He has also been involved in the development of online strategies for SME organisations.
Phil has a number of research areas:
