I received a BA in Environmental Management in 2004 from the University of Leeds and a MSc in Psychological Research Methods from UCL in 2005. I completed my PhD at UCL in 2010 exploring social representations of climate change. Since finishing my PhD, I worked as postdoctoral research associate with the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication and subsequently at UCL as a research fellow on a Liveable Cities project. I became a lecturer in the department of psychology at the University of Westminster in 2014.
I am a social-environmental psychologist with research interests in the perception and communication of risk issues. I am particularly interested in public awareness, understanding and communication of climate change and my research is mixed methodological. I welcome applications from PhD candidates interested in the psychology of climate change.
