Mr Tony Llewellyn

I now work as a specialist in interpersonal dynamics and the effectiveness of project teams.  Originally training as a surveyor, I have spent over thirty years working on major projects. As a partner in construction specialist Davis Langdon, I was responsible for the consulting and specialist services division of the firm. In 2011, I resigned as a director of AECOM to pursue an interest in leadership development and coaching project teams. I completed an MSc in Coaching and Behavioural Change at Henley Business School in 2014.

In addition to my enjoyable role as a Visiting Part Time Lecture at UoW, I continue to work with clients, contractors and their supply chain to build effective integrated teams working on major infrastructure projects.

In the course of my research developed a team coaching methodology based on his research into the overlapping fields team performance, interpersonal dynamics and sector based work practices. This methodology, based around the concepts of alignment, engagement and team resilience, is then adapted to suit the particular needs of a project team at various stages of the project cycle.
