Dr Amir Allam

Dr Amir Allam is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and has a teaching experience in a range of accounting areas including financial and management accounting and financial statement analysis. He was awarded his PhD in Accounting and Finance from the University of Birmingham in 2005 and has been a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy since 2010. His research interests include tax evasion, corporate environmental performance, accounting education and corporate governance. His work is published in Business Strategy and the Environment, Journal of International Accounting, Auditing and Taxation, International Journal of Auditing, Accounting Education, International Journal of Accounting Information Systems, and Australian Accounting Review.
Research Interests/project supervision: tax evasion, corporate tax avoidance, corporate governance, modern slavery, IT & auditing, accounting education.
