Joyce Sarpong is a Part-Time Visiting Lecturer in Entrepreneurship and Marketing at Westminster Business School, Department of Organisations, Economy, and Society.
She holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from The Open University with with a specialisation in Finance and International Business). She teaches for the School of Organisation, Economy and Society (on Entrepreneurship) and School of Marketing and Management (on Marketing).
Prior to joining Westminster Business School, she was associate lecturer on Innovation, Creativity and Change with The Open University. She holds a degree in Computer Studies from London South Bank University. Joyce is an entrepreneur and business leader with over 20 years in business, IT, consultancy and project management experience and success track record of working in the public and private sectors.
She is a professional with board level experience of advising and supporting the CEO and board members of a UK-based educational charity and a governor of an independent school.
Joyce is a Comic Relief African Diaspora ChangeMaker, one of 100 key African leaders selected for her achievements in development work in the UK and Africa.
Her research interests within entrepreneurship, mentoring and coaching (business and executive), Africans in the diaspora, technology and heritage tourism.
