Yasmin joined Westminster Business School at the beginning of 2020 after having worked in both marketing and higher education. Over the years, as well as pursuing postgraduate studies, Yasmin has worked with various SMEs, in a range of industries, to support the effective use of marketing for the development of growth strategies. She has also held positions as a lecturer in higher education working with both undergraduate and postgraduate business students.
Yasmin's focus is on research that leads to positive societal change. Her research interests are focused on the themes of sustainability in the delivery of management education and the role/responsibility of marketing in the promotion of more ethical and sustainable consumption. In the area of sustainable consumption, she is also interested in cultural perceptions and atttitudes. These research interests bring together the topics of sustainability and pedagogical practice to develop the best teaching experience for our students.
