Beginning in October 2019, I started working in the University of westminster as a technical research associate where I was databasing information collated for the calico project. Two months later, I was asked to annotate MRI scans with tools such as MITK and ITK snap as part of further analysis for the calico projects. These annotations would then be fed through to a deep learning model intended to automate the readings of MRI scans in order to improve the pipeline of scan to diagnosis. In 2024, I began learning more in depth about data analysis and coding within the virtual playground to further help the data pipeline we built from raw data to perfectly automated and annotated images. Since 2025, i have done some work with post processing with perspectum as well as beginning the writing of a paper on the prostate about the automated sequences and how data from the UK biobank can be used as comparisons to find any links between volume size and other factors that could affect it. I have been writing scripts for processing images and for processing data put forth on the UK biobank from up to 45,000 subjects.
Currently, I'm carrying out research on the analysis of the Prostate and writing a paper to determine if the biomarkers from 45,000 subjects from the UK Biobank is enough to determine whether there is a correlation between prostate volume and varying factors such as age, BMI, height, etc.
