Kathryn is a fourth year Doctoral Researcher, under the supervision of Dr Samuel Evans, Prof. Catherine Loveday, and Dr Beth Parkin. Her research investigates how people perceive offensive language. Kathryn is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
In 2016, she graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Westminster, before interning with the Cognitive Neuroscience Laboratory, under Prof. Juha Silvanto, Dr Christianne Jacobs, and Dr Jane Jacob.
Kathryn then worked as a Research Assistant with Westminster's Psychophysiology and Stress Research Group, under Prof. Angela Clow, Dr Nina Smyth, and Dr Carly Wood. She has also assisted on projects with Prof. David Peters, Dr Anna Cheshire, and Dr Ilham Sebah. In 2018, she graduated from the University of Nottingham with an MSc in Brain Imaging.
