Miss Era Savvides

Era Savvides was trained as an architect at the Bartlett School of Architecture and is experienced with working across complex interior, architectural and urban planning briefs. She has been lead designer in high profile local and international design offices and has worked for clients such as Niall McLaughlin Architects, Zaha Hadid Architects, Victoria Beckham, H&M, Poliform, Somerset House and Goethe-Institut London. Era’s design philosophy centres around a material-based, crafted approach to digital design and the creative use of robotic fabrication within the built environment.

She is founding director of Urban Radicals, a London-based collaborative studio that examines design from a variety of perspectives including community, economy, politics, locality, craft and architecture. More recently, she has been selected as emerging architectural talent to design and curate the national participation pavilion of Cyprus in the 17th Venice Architecture Biennale and is a recipient of the Architecture Foundation's Young Architects Residency for 2021.

Throughout her working career, Era has been actively involved in academia as a unit leader for schools such as the Architectural Association and Leicester de Montfort University, as well as the Year 1 leader across the Interior Architecture, Architecture and Urban Landscape Architecture courses at Ravensbourne University London.
