Laura is a final year Doctoral Researcher in Psychology under the supervision of Professor Tom Buchanan and Dr Orkun Yetkili. Her project looks at why individuals spread disinformation on social media, with a focus on social identity, beliefs and moral judgements.
In 2020 she received her MSc Psychology from the University of East London. Prior to this she spent over 7 years working in public relations and digital marketing.
Alongside her PhD, Laura works at the university as a PTVL in Psychology, and is an Associate Fellow of the HEA.
