Mr Olayinka Omoboye

As a professional with close to 2 decades of experience in quantity surveying and construction, I have a deep understanding of the industry and a passion for helping medium, small, and micro enterprises (MSMEs) optimize their profits. My expertise in construction contract auditing and risk management allows me to identify and mitigate potential failures in construction projects. My skills in cost management, procurement and tendering, project finance, and construction commercial management have helped me deliver value for money and drive projects to successful completion.

In addition to my technical skills, I have also developed competencies in communication, negotiation, team-working, risk management, health and safety, and business planning. I am committed to creating inclusive environments and promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace. I have also further enhanced my data analysis skills with Python and machine learning, which have proven valuable in the analysis and interpretation of cost data.

As a teacher and mentor, I am dedicated to supporting the professional development of entry-level and mid-level career candidates. I have experience training and supporting prospective candidates in their journey to professional membership and Chartership in organizations such as the National Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS), Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS) and Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB). I believe in the value of lifelong learning and strive to continuously improve my own knowledge and skills.
