Bernadetta holds both a PhD and MSc from City, University of London, as well as an MBA from Edinburgh Business School.
Bernadetta has an extensive teaching experience from British higher education institutions. She previously taught at City, University of London; Robert Gordon University, University of Suffolk and Nottingham Business School. Over the years she was also involved in developing interdisciplinary research-based teaching programmes. She also focused on enabling greater graduate employability.
Bernadetta has also been an active researcher over the years and worked on various research projects in higher education institutions (Westminster Business School and Middlesex University), the Scottish Government in Edinburgh and other non-governmental organisations, such as the Breast Cancer Care Charity in London. The previous research projects focused on among the others: equality and diversity; work and employment, including the ways of dealing with discrimination cases by the Employment Tribunals in the UK, offensive speech in the workplace and various forms of violence against women; work-based learning; and policy-making concerning small and medium size enterprises in the UK. Some projects were of academic nature whilst others were commissioned by public body organizations including the UK Government; Federation of Small Businesses; or London First. At Westminster Business School Bernadetta is combining her previous experience with new academic avenues.
