Dr Ingrid Membrillo Solis
I'm a mathematician interested in theoretical and applied problems in Algebraic and Geometric Topology, Differential and Metric Geometry, Machine Learning and AI. In August 2023, I joined the University of Westminster as a Lecturer in AI. From September 2022 to August 2023, I was a Lecturer in Data Analytics at London Metropolitan University. From September 2018 to July 2023, I was a Research Fellow in Topological Data Analysis at the University of Southampton. I did my PhD in Mathematics (University of Southampton) under the supervision of Stephen Theriault (Thesis: Homotopy theory of gauge groups over certain 7-manifolds). I hold a BSc in Mathematics and a BSc and MSc in Chemistry (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México).
