I am a Lecturer in Life Sciences (Sport & Exercise Nutrition) here at the University of Westminster, having previously worked at academic institutions in both the UK and Europe in the fields of Nutrition, Physiology and Sport & Exercise Sciences. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
I completed a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Human Nutrition, then undertook a Postgraduate Diploma with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) in Sports Nutrition, before completing my Master of Science in Sport & Exercise Sciences. My doctorate was undertaken investigating nutritional considerations for female rugby union.
Alongside my roles in academia, I am an registered sports nutritionist with the Sport & Exercise Nutrition Register (SENR) and have previously worked as a consultant performance nutritionist with a range of professional team, and weight-making sports. These roles include (but not limited to): Premier League & Championship football, Premiership Rugby, Women's International Rugby Union (including Rugby Seven's) and professional Boxing.
Additionally, I am a Level 3 Anthropometrist (Instructor) with the International Society of Advanced Kinanthropometry (ISAK) and have delivered training courses in these disciplines for a range of academic and sporting organisations.
