Abstract

To provide a rare insight into the impact of cultural resources to foreign (ethnic) entrepreneurs in the UK. The businesses and entrepreneurs being considered are from an EU country (Italy), and from the Indian subcontinent (countries formerly part of the British Empire and now of the Commonwealth, which have strong historic and linguistic links to the UK). We examine the extent to which entrepreneurs who are typically and stereotypically seen as embedded in a network of social and business connections are actually far more detached in their B2B dealings than is currently believed.
