|Chapter title||Biography as a Looking Glass: Revealing the Hidden Influences in the Life of Christian Schad|
The chapter results from a research paper that I presented at the British Sociological Society Auto/Biography Conference in 2011.
It explores how biography becomes an educative and hermeneutic tool when used in conjunction with visual, visual-semiotic, and the Bourdieusian notions of capital, habitus and field, and provides further insight into individual lives.
