|Title||An Ugly Aside|
Temporary sculpture made as part of 'A Tea Journey' exhibition at Compton Verney - Warwickshire. The work explores the intertwined histories of the tea and opium trade, confronting colonial histories that sit beneath the surface of historic, decorative ceramic objects, particularly tea ware, as well as the roles and labour of women still involved in the production of tea.
