Abstract

This catalogue supported the event 'Moving Pictures' at the Zoroastrian Centre as part of the London Migration Film Festival on 26th November 2024. The catalogue includes a series of short essays reflecting on the project and broader themes around 'faith, migration and placemaking' from artist filmmaker Dr Julie Marsh, Prof Cangbai Wang, Dr Kate Jordan and artist-curator Dima Karout. the catalogue is introduced by an essay from Malcolm M Deboo, the president of the Zoroastrian Centre. The publication was supported by CREAM (Centre for Research and Education in Arts and Media) and HOMELandS (Hub on Migration, Exile, Languages and Spaces), University of Westminster.
