AuthorsCortvriend, A. and Petrosian, V.
Description

This article summarises findings from our research on intersectional harm and motherhood in the UK asylum system. Drawing on interviews with mothers who had sought asylum in the UK, it examines how motherhood can intensify the effects of poverty, stigma, restricted autonomy and legal precarity while also providing a source of strength and resistance.
