Dr Haiko Ballieux


As part of the Comparative Cognition Group's "Me, Human" project, Haiko has engaged in knowledge exchange events such as at the Bluedot Festival (giving a talk on why our brains cannot see what's really out there), Norwich Science Festival, Glastonbury Festival (leading science-based meditation sessions and giving a talk on 'your brain on therapy'). At these festivals, Haiko also helped run the 'Great Ape Challenge' in which the audience needed to solve a puzzle box also used with great apes. Haiko further was invited as keynote speaker at the Kirros Coaching Retreat with coaching professionals (mainly discussing human resilience and connection to nature).
