Dr Alison Fixsen

I have been an invited speaker at conferences all over the world. I have organised many public facing events at Westminster including a Narrative Methods conference May 2024; an evening 'In conversation with Susie Orbach' May 2026, and Modern Masculinities September 2026,

I was interviewed about my research on social precribing by Dr Xand van Tulleken BBC Breakfast News in 2023, the Conversation, the National Elf Service and the Dana Trust in the US. 

I am a member of a number of expert panels including The Eating Disorders Clinical Research Network (EDCRN), BELSPO (Belgian Federal Science Policy Office).
