Dr Ihab Tewfik, Reader in Sustainable Nutrition Intervention at the University of Westminster, exemplifies transformative public and community engagement through innovative nutrition programmes worldwide. Leading the COHERE Research Group, he spearheads Tailored Functional Recipes (TFRs); affordable, locally sourced meals like Nigeria's Amtewa (delaying HIV progression in 400 HIV patients), India's iATTA (stabilising cachexia in 150 cancer patients), and Ghana's school feeding enhancements, which empower communities as co-creators for sustained health impact.
