Dr Elisabetta Brighi

My public engagement bridges academia, policy, and public discourse. At the University of Westminster, I have delivered high-impact short courses on Global Security for the UK Ministry of Defence. Previously, I played a key role in cultivating international partnerships and advancing student mobility programmes across Japan, India, and the United States.
Most recently, I contributed expert advice to the Italian Parliament on Italy's role in the Middle East, particularly its relations with Egypt and Lybia. I specifically supported the Italian Parliament's inquiry into the death of Giulio Regeni, bringing scholarly insight to a matter of national and international significance. My public interventions have featured across major media platforms, including Al Jazeera, RAI, Globo News, Open Democracy, OrientXXI, Huffington Post, and Internazionale,
