I have been a STEM Ambassador since 2016-to-date and visit secondary schools on a regular basis and promote "Women in Science" as well as coach pupils on CV and Interview technique as part of "Presenting Yourself" activities.
As International co-director for the School of Life Sciences (SLS), I organised a symposium on Research in Neurological Conditions in February 2023, at the University of Westminster, in which 100 delegates registered for the event. I have also led a field trip funded by Quintin Hogg Trust to European Molecular Biology Laboratory in Heidelberg, Germany in April 2023. As International co-director for SLS, I regularly join webinars to promote international recruitment on both UG and PG courses in the SLS, as also involved in organising study year abroad programmes, clinical placements in Malta, Ghana and MRC LSHTM Gambia and field trips.
