Dr Ayine Nigo advises and sits on the Board of Support for Peace, Education and Development Programme (SPEDP). The organization was created in 2007 to assist Sudanese returning from exile and vulnerable households in the region. 

SPEDP offers integrated programs that address various community needs, such as agriculture, livelihoods, water, health, and education, in a coordinated manner. This approach recognizes the interconnectedness of our communities and strives to provide comprehensive support.

SPEDP works on various projects to improve Education, Health, Nutrition, WASH, Food Security, Livelihood (FSL), Shelter, NFIs, Protection, Human Rights, Peacebuilding, and advocacy. Its Head Office is in Juba, South Sudan, with 11 Field Offices—two Subsidiaries; One in Uganda and another in DR Congo.
