Dr Joan Liu

Dr Liu has organised symposiums on Research in Neurological Conditions and Brain Research during Brain Awareness Week at the University of Westminster and has led field trips funded by Quintin Hogg Trust to the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (EMBL) in Heidelberg, Germany, and Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics (CING), Nicosia, Cyprus. 

Dr Liu is involved with a number of outreach activities at the University of Westminster and UCL, and has presented and talked to potential and current students and graduates in a number of onsite and online events relating to International Student Recruitment and Global Mobility activities, including Study Abroad Programmes, Clinical Placements, and Field Trips. Dr Liu has mentored a number of early scientists and PhD students.
