Dr Md Mohataz Hossain

Dr Md Mohataz Hossain


Mohataz is an active educator and researcher in the field of integrated environmental design, Technology and efficient built environment with a special focus on users’ comfort, health and wellbeing. He is also a lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University.

He has the interpersonal skills to design academic lectures and run architectural design tutorials for both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students, which he has developed through his over 9 years of teaching experience in addition to research and practice. He has also recently received ‘The Martin Gough Student Award 2018’ and ‘Tri-Campus Postgraduate Awards 2016’ for his excellence in simulation studies within his PhD thesis and contribution to the postgraduate Community at the University of Nottingham respectively. Mohataz also received ‘Preparing to Teach in Higher Education’ certificate to teach in the UK. He achieved various research and training grants from the institutions in the UK, Germany, Belgium and Bangladesh. He has already got total 21 publications.

Mohataz's main career aspiration is to make a significant contribution in academia through collaborations among Architecture, Engineering and aligned research fields.
