Dr Rutendo Musikavanhu


Rutendo is a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader on the MA Event Design and Management MA Tourism courses. Over the years, Rutendo has taught at university level, published peer reviewed research and has presented and participated at over a dozen conferences including the prestigious Regional Studies Association Annual Conference and the Association for Events Management Education. Prior to this post, she was a Senior Lecturer and Course Director on the Civil Service Leadership education programme and a Lecturer and Course Director in Sport and Event Management at Coventry University. Rutendo undertook her doctoral studies at Bournemouth University, with her research area being Community Support for Mega Events. In addition to her academic work experience, Rutendo has international experience working in the hospitality, tourism and events industry from the United Kingdom, Switzerland, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
