Beyond teaching and research, I serve on the Editorial Board of Scientific Reports (Nature Portfolio), as Guest Editor of the Nature Portfolio collection on Knowledge-assisted Data Mining, and as a member of the EPSRC Peer Review College. I also review for journals including Reliability Engineering & System Safety, Neurocomputing and Atmospheric Pollution Research.
Outside the university, I am Tech Lead for Nigeria Open Data, an open-source civic data platform currently in development. I have given invited talks at Hamburg University of Applied Sciences and Nationwide Building Society, and I mentor early-career researchers in the UK, Nigeria and South Africa.
