She conceptualized and coordinated The Bazaar: Shop for a Cause event in collaboration with various campus departments to raise funds for the Salam Ya Seghar Campaign, initiated by the office of H.H. Sheikha Jawaher Al Qasimi and Big Heart Foundation. Dr Begum also supported the Sharjah Campus in the student’s participation in the Abu Dhabi Science Festival 2014 in Sharjah.
