Dr Paul Rekret
I deliver artistic programmes, and talks on my research for major cultural institutions internationally including Camden Art Centre (London), B.A.K (Netherlands), Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (Canada), UnionDocs (USA) and Beursschouwburg (Belgium) and I am regularly invited to speak to international cultural institutions such as CTM/Transmediale (Germany), Tate Liverpool (UK), Unsound (Poland), and ISSUE Project Room (U.S.). I have written for a range of international arts and culture publications including Frieze: Arts & Culture, Art Monthly, The Wire Magazine, the Quietus, and CURA. My work has also featured in the Guardian, the Independent, folha de S. Paolo, on BBC Radio 4 and in other international press and I have produced programmes of talks, sound and video art, and performance around my research at Cafe Oto and Camden Art Centre in London and UnionDocs Center for Documentary Arts in New York. I am also the producer of radio programmes on global sonic cultures for the independent London community radio station ‘Resonance Extra’ and produce a monthly programme of contemporary popular and experimental music for London’s Threads Radio
