Haleemah’s work with NGOs aims to bridge research and lived experience by developing spaces where young refugees and forced migrants can articulate their own narratives.
In addition to her academic work, Haleemah actively contributes to public research reports and advocacy outputs designed to inform policy and practice. Her ethnographic fieldwork across the UK–France border with Refugee Action has been shared through public and policy talks and academic events addressing the impact of criminalisation and border externalisation on displaced populations.
