Dr Robert Deakin

I have presented my research to public audiences through invited talks at IPSOS and the British Guild of Beer Writers, and an appearance on the Morning Advertiser's 'Lock In' Podcast.

A series of narrative 'long reads' written as part of the After Last Orders project are available to read via the project website and featured as part of a round-up of 'Best Beer and Pubs Writing in 2025'.

'Jimmy's Archive' has been screened at academic conference, classroom and community settings, including as part of the Essay Film Festival and at a pub in east London.
