|Chapter title||Contextualising components when addressing database interoperability|
|Authors||Juric, R., Kuljis, J. and Paul, R.J.|
The concepts of contextualising software components and role based modelling have been exploited when addressing the interoperability problem in multiple databases (DBs). The concepts are applied to the example of a layered component based architectural style for interoperable DBs in order to ease the components' implementations and their binding complexity. Components are contextulaised through a proposed categorisation of user's requests and the running example is designed as an EJB application.
