| Abstract | This paper presents an evaluation of the nonlinear distortion of power amplifiers for full duplex transmitter applications. Simulation-based spectra of a 3 MHz QPSK and 16QAM waveforms at the input and output of the amplifier (Mini-Circuits ZX60-4016E-S+) at 3.5 GHz with an input power of -10 dBm and 0 dBm, respectively, are investigated. Experimental spectra of 5 MHz QPSK waveforms at the same amplifier output frequency of 3.5 GHz, with input powers of 0 dBm and 10 dBm, respectively, are also presented. The presented evaluation of power amplifiers' nonlinearities is important for the impact of power amplifiers on selfinterference in full-duplex transmitter applications. |
