Dr Sumita Ketkar
Dr. Sumita Ketkar is the Director of Learning, Teaching and Quality at the School of Organisations, Economy and Society. She is an experienced academic with over 16 years of teaching, research, and academic leadership experience. She is also a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Her prior academic leadership roles include Course Leader for Master of Science-International Business and Management, Liaison Tutor for International partnerships) , and International Coordinator for Westminster Business School. In all these roles, she has been involved in curriculum enhancement, quality assurance, fostering student experience, and managing international collaborations.
Her current research interests include Sustainability, Gender wage gap, and pay transparency. She has been involved in research projects such as the British Council Disability Inclusion Partnership grant and Impactful learning (PRME). She has also been involved in supervising postgraduate student research. Her students have worked on wide-ranging topics within HRM, such as Global mobility, Reward practices, Expatriates, Change Management and many others.Professional Membership:
