Dr Manuel Corpas

Dr Corpas is deeply committed to bridging genomic science with society, ensuring that underrepresented voices are central to the future of precision medicine. He leads and participates in public dialogues, workshops, and capacity-building initiatives across Latin America, Europe, and beyond, most notably through his leadership of the Spanish Congress in Genomic Medicine and the London Bioinformatics Meetup.

Through his Personal Genomics Zone podcast, YouTube channel, and regular media contributions, he translates complex genomic and AI concepts into accessible narratives that inspire trust, critical thinking, and public empowerment. His projects, including the Peruvian Genome Project, actively engage Indigenous and local communities in co-designing research priorities, governance frameworks, and benefit-sharing agreements.

By combining scientific leadership with transparent communication and culturally-aware engagement, Dr Corpas advances a model of genomics that is inclusive, equitable, and responsive to the needs of all communities.
