Dr Kyoko Murakami


I am currently a member of the following:

War & Pilgrimage – The Returning Soldier network, contributing both scholarly and professional exchanges and promote awareness of those who gave their lives ano contributing to the war effort. I am interested in supporting the family members of those veterans. 

Age UK, Richmond, working together to help Ukrainian arrivals for integration and adaptation to the local community. 

Burma Campaign Society for their ongoing work on reconciliation,  reconstruction and rebuilding bridges between UK, India and Japan regarding the second world war. I

Previously I was involved in KE and community based projects in heritage sites (Imperial War Museum, Cup of Humanity Project, Landmark Arts Centre). 

As a qualified ESOL teacher, I teach Ukrainian and other refugees English in a local FE college in order to help them get settled in the life in the UK.
