Abstract

Is learning a product or a process?

Product - learning is a change in behaviour, it is the end product of a process, it can be seen; it is a quantitative increase in knowledge; an acquiring of facts, skills and methods; the storing of information to be reproduced.

Process - learning is something you do to make sense of the world; relating different things to each other and to the real world; interpreting and understanding in a different way; learning is a process by which behaviour changes as a result of experience.
