Abstract | The aim of Business Leadership Review is to be a forum for debate of all areas impacting on leadership development and postgraduate management education. To fully realise this mission, interaction from readers on the research, ideas and opinions presented is key; it is only through discussion and debate on these issues that true learning can occur. This comment and response piece is one way in which this debate can be achieved through BLR – here, reader Byron Pratt has commented on an original BLR article by Professor Abby Ghobadian (then of Middlesex University Business School, and now Academic Dean at Henley Management College), published in January 2005, entitled: ‘The Implications of Changing Environments for Business Education’. The debate centres on the balance of learning styles most appropriate for contemporary postgraduate management education, drawing on scholarly research, practical experience, and examples of innovation in this area. |
