Abstract

Musiklivets Partnerskab lancerede i foråret 2023 en ambitiøs forsknings­baseret undersøgelse i fire dele med fokus på de danske skabende og udøvende musikeres (herefter kaldt musikere) mentale sundhed og trivsel.

Der er mange velkendte udfordringer forbundet med mental sundhed og trivsel for musikere, herunder lange og uregelmæssige arbejdstider, manglende anerkendelse, økonomisk stress, misbrug, ustabile arbejdsforhold og belastende kulturer i branchen. Disse udfordringer kan have negative konsekvenser for trivsel, helbred og personlige relationer.

Undersøgelsens første del dokumenterede, at der generelt er en højere grad af mistrivsel blandt musikere sammenlignet med den øvrige danske befolkning. Særligt unge og kvindelige musikere har dårligere trivsel.

Det er forhold, som de professionelle aktører i musikbranchen må engagere sig i og bidrage til at ændre. Den sidste fase af undersøgelsen består derfor af en række anbefalinger, som vil danne grundlag for
konkrete initiativer og nødvendige strukturelle forandringer, så vi kan forbedre trivslen i branchen.
